Text and images by Chen Chi-Hsiang. In the current trend of globalized art, anything is possible, inviting exploration from more diverse perspectives. While seeking to subvert history, history follows like a dream or bubble. Delving into the creation of modernism, entering the situation after postmodernism, and injecting local cultural contexts and differences under globalization, one adopts a plastic behavior and attitude, synthesizing transformation into new possibilities, proposing personal viewpoints of the era, and injecting a fresh feeling and imaginative space.
With new technologies bringing informatization, visualization, and digitalization come various possibilities. Current art continues to evolve with technological changes, especially with today's diverse forms of digital video and imagery, and even discussions on audio and sound. This develops information and digital-type art that is extraordinary, converting into understandable spaces and objects, developing turbulent emotions, new experiences, and imaginative spaces, opening up the possibilities of art in the new century.
