I Am Here
Standing before the 2013 installation by Philippe Baudelocque and Seth

I am here; here is there. Both "here" and "there" indicate places, but what place? A place is a position. Here is where I stand; there is elsewhere or another place. Of course, I am in the place where I am, that is, here, grounded here. The place where I am is the spot where I stand at this moment. Time is within time, space within space; there is here. Is the place my body occupies really here? Delusions arise, thoughts drift, the mind has no anchor, the mind is outside the body, the body exists without the mind. Then here becomes there. Is everywhere I am really here? Who knows? Who can say I am there? Because if the mind is not present with the body, it becomes an illusion. Thus, when the mind is present, everything is present. The site is complete. There is here, and here is also there. Within and without coexist. Being lies in the unspoken truth, right here on site.
