Sandro's Dance 1919-1929, Centre Pompidou Collection

"Sandra's Dance": Within a gold-framed border, two vertical lines and two crossed lines are tied. On the vertical lines, a cardboard piece at the bottom bears Picabia’s signature, while one at the top reads "Sandra's Dance." On the crossed lines, a triangular cardboard piece in the upper center displays "Tabac-RAC" (RAC brand cigarettes). Aside from these texts, his realistic space becomes the painting's defining feature. Is this a painting? What constitutes a painting? Can any object enclosed within a frame become a painting?
