Paris is the homeland of artists and Bohemians, a dreamland for lovers of freedom, and a place dreamed of by tourists worldwide. As France’s capital and administrative center, one of Europe’s most important hubs for humanities and art, it is currently the metropolis most coveted by global tourists, possessing its own charm and allure. From urban aesthetics, poetry, romantic ambiance, cultural atmosphere, exquisite cuisine, fashion trends to freedom, everything has become what the famous American writer Hemingway described as “A Moveable Feast.” However, on my life’s journey, I never expected Paris to become my dearest wife and second hometown. Perhaps this is due to some karmic connection; perhaps Paris is simply too beautiful, captivating me, a lover of beauty. In this foreign land that has become my home, I have long since become a Parisian. The nostalgia that might otherwise exist has been diluted by beautiful things and romantic emotions; for me, it seems absent. I often feel like a fish in water, destined to be an outsider yet also a local, melting into the true context of Parisian life, environment, and culture. One cannot say I have forgotten who I am, existing within this vacuum of mind, art, and humanities. To deeply understand what kind of state of mind or experience exists at the heart of this magnificent Paris, and regarding its meaning, that is merely an added value. Within the embrace of my beloved lover, Paris, I often enjoy the comfort of being in my element. Regardless of storms, there is always joy in my heart. This harmony stems from body, mind, and spirit. From physical sensations to deep meditative experiences, these responses are genuine reactions to bodily practice and mental harmony. Especially in this poetic, free-loving, and artistic paradise, fueled by curiosity about European civilization and the inexplicable fascination with French culture, I attempt to explore this depth. Through cross-cultural experiences and authentic living, I try to understand the multifaceted nature of this poetic lover. With my most sincere and affectionate love, I attempt to unveil the mysterious veil of bewitching Paris.
Poetic and picturesque, the elegant metropolis of Paris, filled with freedom and cultural atmosphere, along with its excellent quality of life, allows me to be freer and more at ease within the embrace and context of my beloved lover. It brings me closer to my true self. At all times, I learn and respond with humility, entering poetic contexts and infecting myself with romantic sentiments. Growth over time does not necessarily mean becoming grandiose; ultimately, it is about truly walking through and crossing over, realizing the state of mind, culture, and life context within. Transforming all of this into life and soul, I turn Hemingway’s “A Moveable Feast” into an “Eternal Feast,” enjoying the tenderness and consideration of my beloved lover. My beloved lover hopes to embrace you tightly for a lifetime and publicly declare to the world, “I love you.” Of course, the romantic lover of Paris would not be jealous, for this embrace makes love boil and bloom. A deep, emotional kiss offers my “heart,” expressing my devotion and supreme love: “I love Paris,” “Paris loves me.”
