Art Is My Parisian Antidote to the Summer Heat

The Luxembourg Garden hosts outdoor Chopin concerts during summer vacation, each performance attracting a large audience. I attended two piano recitals, delighted by the performances of young Polish pianists, listening intently and savoring each moment.
During the summer break, Parisian galleries remain open. Before the national holiday, I explored a circuit of important galleries to satisfy my curiosity, then visited the Centre Pompidou to see new exhibitions: the "Gerhard Richter - Panorama" retrospective by the German artist, which I had seen last year at the new Tate Modern in London, and another look in Paris—seeing it multiple times is never too much, as it always offers different perspectives and experiences. Also on view was the video exhibition by Anri Sala, one of the most groundbreaking leading figures among Europe's new generation of video artists.
Yesterday, I visited the Quai Branly Museum for a distinctive special exhibition, "Maîtres du Désordre" (Masters of Chaos), a show blending contemporary art and art brut, full of imaginative space, creativity, and vitality. Both the exhibition planning and installation, as well as the spectacular works, exceeded all expectations.
Across all eras and cultures, both predecessors and successors, the fascination with and exploration of existence's mysteries and the profundity of life stem from humanity's very origin and depths. I felt privileged to witness an exhibition so wondrous and beyond imagination—it is good to have eyes. This kind of deep consciousness and experiential knowledge is irreplaceable. Art is my Parisian antidote to the summer heat.
