Sharing "Happiness" with Friends and Family Beside Me
The pleasure of beauty - Bercy Park - the season when roses are in full bloom

Text and photos by Chen Chi-Hsiang. Paris is a place suitable for walking, and strolling has become my way of adjusting to life in the city of flowers. In the metropolis, I like to wander freely with my camera, marveling at the journey and often making new discoveries. Curious about every corner of the city, I joyfully explore; unfamiliar places are often the most attractive, aren't they? Of course, I avoid crowded places unless friends come from afar, requiring me to take them to must-see tourist attractions, which I do not oppose. Every encounter with historical sites and scenic spots leaves one amazed, so I am grateful to my friends for allowing me to meet time and civilization again. Thus, I have many private spots and routes. I prefer to share with friends these things that I feel are meaningful and beautiful, appreciating the beautiful things in human life—how happy this is! I will not forget to share it with the friends and family beside me. Solitary joy is not as good as shared joy. As the great French writer Maupassant said: "If no one shares with you, what meaning does victory have?" Grateful for this.
