It's too hot - let's have some ice cream together

Text and photos by Chen Chi-Hsiang. The first day of this year's summer vacation in Paris, the thermometer already broke records at "40 degrees." Coincidentally, I was in London where it also broke records at "35-36 degrees." In recent years, summers have repeatedly broken records. What is happening to this Earth? The phenomenon of frogs boiling in a pot has become reality; abnormal heat has become normal. Heatwaves from Southern Europe continue to strike one after another (a Spanish friend told me that Paris is considered normal; the south of Spain is even hotter, which is hard to imagine). No one can avoid it; we can only adapt or find ways to get through this hot season. When it's too hot, ice cream businesses in Paris or London are doing well, with long lines everywhere. I love eating ice cream; let's cool down for a while, and naturally, our mood will feel refreshed.
