The House Is on Fire

Text and photos by Chen Chi-Hsiang. The house is on fire, with heavy losses of life and property. This accident was not unexpected; in a world situation standing on the brink of a volcano, trouble can arise at any moment, at any time or place.
Who is the culprit? An outsider or an insider? What exactly happened? Is the problem the problem itself? Who controls the issue (lies have become truth, ignorance has blurred the focus for the masses, to seize power and control)? The terror is not the disaster itself, but the fact that no one dares to face the truth.
We used to be fortunate that it wasn’t our own house burning, feeling indifferent to the suffering of other regions. Now that our own rear end is on fire, the external realm has become our internal realm. This is not surprising, because we are all connected; this beautiful Earth is intimately linked to us. There is no doubt that the house is on fire due to human ignorance, greed, and arrogance.
The fire shocks people. Wake up! Those who are drowsy or dreaming must face the problem squarely. The future is in our hands. Otherwise, this world is playing out according to the script of those in control. Indeed, "If you do not realize your dreams, others will manipulate you into fulfilling theirs." Who gains the most benefit from this disaster?
