The Chickens at Palais de Tokyo in Paris Finally Hatch
Artist Abraham Poincheval hatches eggs at Palais de Tokyo.

By Chen Chi-Hsiang. The dramatic Abraham Poincheval has finally become a chicken "dad." Under appropriate temperature and the test of patient time, it was no joke. After three weeks of body performance art, an artistic miracle appeared on Tuesday, April 18—chicks emerged one by one from under his buttocks. Although this is a biological result, this artistic hatching behavior is not only fanciful but also brings a knowing smile to people's faces. "Miracles" always exist; as long as humans desire rebirth, it is possible. It holds deep meaning and symbolism, coinciding with Western Easter, so choosing this date was not surprising. This body performance art became an incredible experience of existence, elucidating the wonder and profundity of life.
