Chen Chi-Hsiang, born 1956 in Fangliao Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. Lives and works in Paris and Taiwan. E-mail: titien029@yahoo.com.tw. Professional sculptor, art critic (member of the International Association of Art Critics, AICA), contemporary art historian, amateur horticulturist, expert on contemporary art and urban greening data, human geographer of Paris, columnist for contemporary art criticism in Taiwan Artist Magazine and Tainan’s Yafen Diqu literary column. Currently researching current globalized art trends and observing cultural and creative industry developments.

Education & Career Timeline 1984–85: Attended the Louvre School of Art, Paris (did not graduate). 1982: Arrived in France to engage in artistic creation and research. 1979: Graduated from the National College of Arts. 1956: Born in Fangliao Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan.
