"The greatness of the world is formed by creative power."
In Taiwan, I often travel between north and south, visiting artists from the south to the north, simply wanting to understand how the artistic creators on this land create, live, what difficulties they face, and what they think, because I care about this land promised by my mother. That day, after going to Sanzhi with Su Guoqing, we first attended a symposium by Xu Yuren (Yu Ye) at National Taipei University of Education, then went to the Sanzhi Art Colony to find sculptor Liang Pingzheng (Wai Wai), and visited Yao Kehong. It was exciting to see the two brothers, especially Yao’s keen vision and creative spirit, which was moving. As a potter, he eagerly shared his recent ink paintings with us, making it hard to imagine how he creates. Guided by that light in the heart, or driven by the energy of willpower, he indeed created many things that are beyond ordinary comprehension. I think "the greatness of the world is formed by creative power."
That day, after discussing art and sharing creative experiences, Brother Kehong sat next to me. We held hands, chatting and laughing. In his knowing smile, I deeply felt an energy of profound human friendship running through us, unforgettable. I sincerely bless my artist friends, hoping my visits and care bring you more creative energy. Let us jointly create the value of Taiwan.
