White Night - Paris National Symphony Hall: Listening to music until full
The Paris National Symphony Hall is still crowded at dawn

Text and photos by Chen Chi-Hsiang. In 2018, the Paris National Symphony Hall participated in the event for the first time. Starting Saturday at 8 p.m., five major symphony orchestras performed in a relay race, seemingly determined not to lose face, continuing until 2 a.m.

Subsequently, in the same hall’s Pierre Boulez Grand Concert Hall (which can accommodate 3,000 audience members), videos of pianist Nicola Horvath’s concerts were played until 5:30 a.m., allowing everyone to listen to music until they were full or even bursting with it. People became completely immersed in the music throughout the entire White Night, enjoying themselves endlessly.
