Seeing Is Not Enough?

Seeing is not enough? Seeing is the starting point for pursuing truth.

Do you believe what you see before your eyes?

That world would be too flat,

This world is more complex than what you see;

If you do not look with your heart, perhaps you will not see at all.

The profound or the mysteries of life cannot be fully penetrated by the eyes alone.

Reality is so, and art is likewise.

In The Little Prince, the fox gives the little prince a secret: "What is essential is invisible to the eye, but must be perceived with the heart."
