What one encounters is what one loves; where love resides, fortune lies. What one does not encounter is not loved; this is the norm of the world.

What one sees is what one thinks; where reason resides, thought lies. What one does not see is not thought; this is the anomaly of the world.

Thus have I heard: all appearances are not appearances; true reality has no form. All are particles mimicking forms.

Thus have I seen: all colors are not colors; true color has no hue. All are ions in various states.

Mirror flowers and water moons; floating life resembles a dream. Lingering in the seven emotions and six desires is called pathological.

All appearances are illusory. Only by seeing through the myriad colors can one attain the wondrous state.
