In these last days of August, just as summer vacation ends, an unexpected heatwave arrives. From last weekend until now, Paris's weather has suddenly shifted from rainy and autumnal chill to clear skies and bright sunshine, making Parisians exuberant and energized, moving their activities from indoors to outdoors everywhere. Crowds gather in every open space; roads become busy, shopping streets buzz with life again, and children’s laughter fills the air. Especially in Paris’s green spaces, groups of people instantly gather to bathe in the sunlight, enjoying its sensual caress and savoring the final moments of summer vacation.

Starting this week, one feels the crowds returning to the city. Clearly, many Parisians’ holidays have ended as they return from the provinces and the coast, re-entering the busy rhythm of metropolitan life. Both young and old begin preparing for school next week, and Parisian social life is about to resume its normal routine. This week, the President concluded his holiday and government ministers returned to their posts, full of energy. Political and economic reforms are entering a new phase, and French society and politics are awakening from their slumber, soon facing reform challenges and impacts across all levels of society.

Due to climate conditions this year, French crops, especially wheat, have seen reduced yields. As summer ends, prices for everything are set to rise. The media has shifted its focus to issues such as the start of school, rising prices, and the government’s new reforms. The entire society of Paris is about to enter a tense new world.
