Paris's "Nuit Blanche" draws Parisians out to appreciate the beauty of the city they live in. The daytime and nighttime scenery of Paris are both quite special; only those who personally live here can deeply experience this unique poetic beauty. During "Nuit Blanche" in particular, it is even more enchanting, with novel scenes everywhere, sketching out eye-catching night views that do not exist on ordinary days.

Indeed, I would never stroll alone through the streets of Paris at three or four in the morning to admire the beautiful nightscapes (unless there is a special rendezvous or evening party, when the only thought is hurrying home, which puts one in a completely different state of mind). Yet Paris's "Nuit Blanche" allows me to relax completely, opening my heart and eyes to explore the distinctive beauty and poetry of Paris in the deep of night. I share these personally experienced images with everyone — immersed in beauty, I am utterly delighted and lose myself. Who can understand this state of mind?
