The chosen theme each year is particularly meaningful. Following the exploration of natural ecology in the previous two years, this year focuses especially on the exploration of new urban gardens.

The theme is titled "Garden of Anamorphosis (L'Anamorphose)", an extraordinary urban land art piece. It is a work combining architecture and natural ecology by the architect François Abelanet from the city's Greening Spaces and Environment department. It symbolizes the connection between the metropolis and nature, especially under the contradictions and situations of the environment versus concrete-walled cities in today's modernization, attempting to seek a possibility.

This garden of anamorphosis begins with discovering Paris's diverse tree species, achieving a recomposed and constructed image. When visiting, it appears like a typical garden arrangement: on undulating hilly terrain, there are various trees, winding pathways, clusters of flowers and plants, etc. People will discover geometric forms drawn on these undulating grassy slopes, possessing their own decorative quality, resembling the white lines on a sports field, extending stretchingly to the garden's edge.

Only after walking a large circle does one suddenly realize: these white lines converge at a single viewpoint. As long as people stand on the high platform, they will see an extremely unusual visual composite image of a three-dimensional spherical form, like a 3D mathematical geometric vision. Of course, people below can only see a flat elliptical image. When you stand on the high viewing platform, a perfect, flawless three-dimensional circular visual image in three-dimensional space will appear. It combines metropolis and nature, architecture and landscape, mineral and plant, reality and imagination, signifying the protection of urban trees and the environment, raising awareness of natural environmental protection, and symbolizing the connection between metropolis and nature.
