London's Rooftop - "Sky Garden"
The garden features subtropical plants planted in layers on the two sloping sides.

Text and photos by Chen Chi-Hsiang. The Sky Garden is a new observation deck offering panoramic views of London, located on the 35th floor of a new building. It is a coffee-bar surrounded by a tropical plant garden, with high-end bar restaurants on the 36th and 37th floors. The Sky Garden sparks curiosity and imagination; from the 35th to the 37th floor, subtropical plants are layered along the two sloping sides, creating a lush, greenhouse-like subtropical forest that allows visitors to temporarily forget their urban surroundings, becoming a new tourist attraction in London.
Visiting the "Sky Garden" is free, requiring only an online reservation. Located in the heart of London's financial district facing the River Thames, it serves as a new vantage point for panoramic views, allowing one to see the magnificent, boundless rooftop panorama of London and enjoy the moving cruise ships and bright light changes on the Thames. Here, you can sit at the café for coffee or juice; two floors up are the upscale bar restaurants where you can invite friends to enjoy dinner while viewing London's beauty, spending a wonderful time together. The "Sky Garden" is between the Monument station and the river, located on the roof of the new building at 20 Fenchurch Street.
