Text/Photos by Chen Chi-Hsiang. Tomas Saraceno (born 1973) is one of the most representative emerging artists in South America, known for cross-disciplinary multimedia spatial installations and objects. This work draws inspiration from spider webs, serving as an excellent example of learning from nature. As painter Wassily Kandinsky said: "When human culture development produces a crisis, we must return to nature and relearn from it." In today's consumer society, has art also lost its way in the fog of daily narratives without realizing it? Urban art naturally becomes estranged from nature. In this context, concepts replace art; under thinking and debate, "art" remains only "argumentation," the mind replaces everything, and human intuition and sensibility vanish—where have they gone?
