The special exhibition "Woman - Are You There?" runs from the 5th to the 19th of the month, and until the 23rd of the month as an outdoor exhibition in the Luxembourg Garden. The private garden of Parisians—every year, during the summer season, the Luxembourg organizes outdoor sculpture and installation exhibitions, becoming the capital of art—an annual ritual of artistic and cultural events in Paris, also testifying to the interest and promotion of the arts by the French National Assembly. This year, with an innovative theme "Woman - Who are you?" as the title, it invites artists from Europe, 45 women of different generations, to participate in this sumptuous event, exploring the multiple figures of woman: mother, lover, noble lady, fairy, widowed empress, prostitute, popular star, etc. In each different role, she embodies her identity and role in specific scenarios. They attempt to explore and decipher the mysterious and tender aspects of woman, or conversely, the cunning and perfidious ones. This is not a feminist exhibition, but rather an analysis of woman from various perspectives. Woman is mysterious and elusive, more mysterious and inexplicable than man; her gentleness is like water, seductive and charming, driving men mad and toppling cities; one often hears that even heroes succumb before beauty, suggesting this trial is harder than any other. Her strong will is as solid as steel, like an impregnable wall; for example, crying down the Great Wall and breaking men's hearts. Her fierce explosive power is as formidable as a tiger; facing mortal danger, she is braver and more violent than a furious tiger, crushing the enemy's body and devouring his heart. Woman's schemes are cunning, stripping men of their power and wealth, leaving them destitute. Her warmth and total devotion embody maternal light, etc. The special installation exhibition at the Luxembourg this year is, as usual, arranged in the lush garden of flowers and trees, green lawns, shaded paths, on the trees, in the basins; the sunny garden serves as a backdrop for the works, enhancing their poetic and picturesque character. Besides the most remarkable ones, there are also ten artists with "The Queen of France" surrounded under the garden platform as thematic installations, expressing historical sentiment and the symbolism of woman, awakening the sleeping queen statues, miraculously resurrecting. Like the young Polish artist Wela under the statue of Queen Clotilde, installing sensitive and figurative sketches on its facade. French painter Jean-Paul Chambas under the statue of Queen Anne of Austria constructs theatrical scenes, blending modern and classical characters, and brings a pair of red high heels for the Queen, with humor and theatricality. Artist Artur Miller transforms the beautiful Queen into Sleeping Beauty, surrounding the statue with a giant spiderweb woven from transparent threads. Nicole Barth offers Queen Anne a long and prestigious chain of jewelry; this multicolored necklace is placed in front of the statue, and thanks to the reflection in a mirror located in front, the Queen appears to be wearing the necklace. The young artist Florence Bost, with a sound installation, surrounds the noble statue of Queen Milan Valentine with a series of blue cylinders bound by colored threads; visitors hear soft and intimate words from speakers when they approach. Noel Pasquier [vegetal works]. Gerald Pestnal dresses the beautiful and seductive Louvre of Noves Queen in a primitive round skirt made of leaves. Fashion creator Fransk Sorbier dresses the most authoritative queen in French history, Marie de Medicis, in a black cloak decorated with astrological cards, symbolizing the Queen's destiny, etc. Near the Orangery, under the influence of the German artist living in France, Axel Cassel fills the space with a primitive flavor; wood sculptor Coskun carves wooden statues; famous Belgian sculptor Eugne Dodeigne creates highly symbolic stone statues of woman. The famous Polish artist Magdalena Abakanowicz's "Woman Walking Without Body" series presents anxiety, perplexity, and tragedy. Young artist Christine Boileau dresses a tree mistaken for a female body, wearing the trunk with a seductive mesh skirt, appearing very charming and adorable. Xavier Boggi displays a series of blue water droplets in the woods; Sylvie de Meurville, under the Medici Fountain, the most romantic and enchanting in the Luxembourg Garden, creates an installation with elegant curves of floating female bodies on the water, very seductive, adding canes accompanied by their ducklings playing in the water, making the scene even more poetic. This versatile exhibition also allows visitors to the Luxembourg gardeners to discover unexpected surprises, bringing more artistic atmosphere to the City of Light; the capital of art and the flowered city illustrate the exceptional quality of life in Paris; Paris has not become a major tourist destination without reason.
