The solo exhibition "Picasso and the Masters" is quite interesting. By comparing his works with those of historical masters, one gains a unique perspective on their similarities and differences. Careful observation reveals that some pieces seem to require such comparison; without sufficient imagination, it would be hard to grasp. Artistic heritage stems from the past, but Picasso's creations come from boundless inspiration. There was no temporal or spatial distance between Picasso and the masters. His extraordinary creativity and imaginative power made him the greatest master of the 20th century. (Picasso images courtesy of Musée Picasso, Paris, Picasso Estate 2008)
