Taiwan is my beloved hometown, a haven when I wander to the ends of the earth, and even more so, the original homeland of my life. Although my ideal presidential candidate "Xiao Ying" lost the election, her defeat was honorable. We do not give up, because she outlined an ideal blueprint for Taiwan; her ideals became a popular belief, showing us Taiwan's true hope. Fortunately, in this election, racial grievances were no longer used as political tricks. Although the ruling party continued to spread rumors and smear opponents, their influence was minimal. In a rational society, everyone has the right to support their preferred presidential candidate. I am still grateful that there were no unfortunate accidents during this election, as previous elections were changed by a single bullet. Both the loser and the winner showed gentlemanly conduct, accepting the results, which further confirms the maturity of Taiwan's democracy.

I still wish success to President Ma, who was elected and re-elected. Although the global outlook is not optimistic and revitalizing Taiwan's politics, economy, and society faces many difficulties, we can only pray for heaven's blessing on Taiwan. Taiwanese people have no right to be pessimistic; they must continue to advance toward our ideals, making persistent efforts. In the future, the public will supervise the government more closely, leading to a more harmonious and integrated society, moving toward national prosperity and peace.

This election highlighted a new force. Under Tsai Ing-wen's reforms and ideals, the Democratic Progressive Party promoted an idealistic political blueprint during the campaign, forming a popular consensus. The gentle and idealistic "Xiao Ying" became the best choice in the hearts of Taiwanese people for governing the country and future leadership. "Xiao Ying," Taiwan, which we love dearly, needs you. You are our hope for the future, guiding the hearts of Taiwanese people. We wholeheartedly support you. We have ideals and aspirations, as well as strong will and faith. We have sufficient ability and energy. Let us gather courage to build our ideal homeland. At this New Spring, we sincerely bless our country and "Xiao Ying."
